Apply now for a 2023 General Assembly Scholarship

Thanks to the generosity of our donors, SWHPN is able to offer a limited number of scholarships to attend the 2023 General Assembly. Applications are now being accepted until midnight ET on February 3rd, 2023.

Scholarships are for the amount of the full conference registration fee only. Travel and lodging expenses are the responsibility of the conference attendee.

Preference will be given to MSW and PhD social work students, first-time presenters, first-time attendees, and international participants, and to those exhibiting financial need.

To apply for scholarship consideration, you must submit with your application:

  1. A description, not to exceed 500 words, that describes what you hope to gain from the conference, demonstrates your interest in and commitment to hospice and palliative care, and states how this financial support will benefit you; and, 

  2. A curriculum vitae or resume that provides your experience.

Scholarship winners will be notified by February 10th, 2023. Many thanks to our donors who make this support possible!
